Literature Text
To stand tall when the world
Wants you down, dead, gone.
To fight when the one you fight
For doesn't want to be
Fought for.
To live when living hurts too
Much and you just wanna be
Gone.
To dance, to smile, to sing,
And to laugh,
When you know it's gonna
Piss someone off.
To hold the one you love
Tight to your chest,
Even when that loved one
Isn't there.
To look at your body and
Seeing mismatched parts.
To cry at night because you're
Scared you'll never see him again.
To look at your legs laced up
With lavender thread.
To saying sorry for something
That you should never have to
Say sorry for.
To the pain of knowing that you
Hurt the one you love, out of
Fear.
But lastly,
To the chance of walking on,
To continuing,
To making the world a better place.
To fighting.
To revolution.
To mistakes and triumphs.
To all the things that make me,
Me.
Thanks. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Androgyny
Why is everything broken down?
Sorted Bit by bit,
And plastered with a label,
Pushed in to fit,
What are you and who am I?
Memories and dreams,
Beyond my mind,
Not so cut and dried,
When all your lines are blurred,
What is this life?
When you care,
What does it matter?
Intentions and thoughts,
Or am I only black and white?
Do you love me?
For I am only shades of grey,

Captivation
Soft lullabies
Of accompanying piano.
Her fingers delicately grazing my skin.
Slow ballad of breath,
Deeply inhaling, exhaling.
Inhaling, exhaling.
Sweet,
Slow, lull of
Stillness and silence.
Decrescendo and
Heavy eyes,
Ending
Her hushed lullaby.
Literature
Please...
We don't hate you for being straight...
..why hate us for being gay?
I look around...we aren't any different.
We hate.
We cry.
We feel.
We dance.
We laugh.
We fall.
We rise
We love.
But not if we are brought down.
We cannot help who we love, whether they be male, female, or none of the above; Love Is Love, No Matter What.
So, the next time you say, "That's gay!' "Fag! "Slut." "Homo!" "Queer!" Please, stop and think about this;
How are we different from you?
We all have...
Two eyes.
One pair of lips.
Two lungs.
Intestines.
Two arms.
Two legs.
Bones.
Muscle.
...and hearts.

This is a poem I wrote. It's a bit touchy. I guess.
